Interactivity Index (or InI, as we call it for short) is a composite activity indicator on a Facebook Page. In short, it is a sum of activities, but the behaviors that we sum are weighted according to how active the user’s engagement is.

Interactivity Index in practice

Here’s how we summarize the activities on Facebook:

  • Comment = 4
  • Text only = 8
  • Multimedia = 12
  • Share = 16

In short, helps you to see which content was the most engaging (including different weights of different kinds of activities). A more detailed description of InI can be found on our blog.
