Facebook live streams are real-time video posts which appear on your News Feed while they are being recorded and they stay up afterwards.

If you are interested in content from a Page, you can subscribe and get a notification every time this person starts a live stream. If you want to turn on live video notifications you have to do the following:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on Notifications
  • Scroll down to Live Videos to make changes.

When making a post, you’ll also see a live video icon. Clicking it will allow you to write a description and select an audience before going live. Then you click Go Live to get the broadcast started. While broadcasting, you can see who is watching your videos and who likes and comments on your video in real time. Your live video will also appear in the News Feed when you finish.
