Yes, you heard us right, this already started happening to some Facebook Pages. This change is, though, part of something bigger called a New Pages Experience. It might sound scary, but after reading our article you\u2019ll know that there is nothing to be worried about.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What does implementing New Pages Experience mean? Shortcut\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. The New Pages Experience was rolled out in October 2020 for selected categories of Pages, mostly professionals. In the upcoming months, it will be rolled out to every Page.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The initial idea behind New Pages Experience is to give more tools and possibilities for professionals to manage their presence on the platform in a more secure way.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. It\u2019s always possible to switch back to the classic Page, though there are some consequences.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The number of Facebook fans will no longer be available in the New Pages Experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. If you\u2019re using third-party apps for analyzing your Facebook stats, some inconsistencies might occur right after making the switch (especially with the number of fans).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What is the New Pages Experience?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Let\u2019s start with explaining what the New Pages Experience (let\u2019s call it NPE for now) actually is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    As <\/span>Facebook claims<\/span><\/a>, the New Pages Experience is :<\/span><\/p>\n

    a way for public figures, businesses and others who want to build and connect with an audience manage their professional presence on Facebook.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    It sounds like the New Pages Experience is not dedicated to everyone. It\u2019s partially true as for now it\u2019s available only for a selected group of people. However, as <\/span>Facebook representatives some time ago informed<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that the NPE will be rolled out to all Pages in the upcoming months of 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \nIt’s 2022 already, and not every Facebook Page has been transferred to the NPE.<\/p>\n

    Who and when can switch to the New Pages Experience?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The New Pages Experience has been active since October 2nd, 2020 (however, <\/span>the official statement<\/span><\/a> was published on January 6, 2021) and is now <\/span>available only for selected categories of Facebook Pages, mostly professionals<\/b>, for example: politicians, actors, dancers, artists or athletes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Once you switch to the NPE, it\u2019s always possible to go back to the classic Page. Even though it\u2019s always possible, you need to be aware of the consequences of such a move. These are the most significant ones:<\/span><\/p>\n
