What does getting verified on Instagram even mean? <\/b><\/h2>\n

Ok, let\u2019s start from the beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n

What does an Instagram verification actually mean? <\/b><\/p>\n

It means that a given profile becomes the official profile of a brand, influencer or celebrity. <\/span><\/p>\n

Verified profiles<\/a> are marked with a blue badge (blue check mark).<\/span><\/p>\n

But what is the purpose of verification? <\/b><\/p>\n
