These are: All UK Brands, Alcohol, Banks, IT\/Electronics, Beverages, Beer, Politics, Retail, Cars, Sweets, and Telecommunication.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Best Performing Profiles<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This month was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/2016\/06\/twitter-trends-uk-may-2016-sports-clubs-captain-americas-boyfriend\/\">again<\/a> dominated by One Direction and it\u2019s members and one previous member. Their top tweets consisted of the usual love for fans and family, but Zayn Malik\u2019s top tweet was an honest confession of his struggles with anxiety. He took a photo of some text exceeding the 140 character limit, showing a unique way to get a larger message across on Twitter. The popularity of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uefa.com\/uefaeuro\/season=2016\/matches\/#md\/6\">UEFA Euro games<\/a> cannot be understated, as is demonstrated by it\u2019s popularity on Twitter. And the third most popular hashtag was #ENG, which was used to show support for the England football team. Supporters and opponents of the decision for the UK to leave the EU voiced their opinions adamantly on social media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On average, profiles tweeted 45 times a day, with Virgin Media leading with 1640 tweets published on average.
