Which of them is the most successful at engaging fans and followers? <a title=\"Click to download the report!\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/trends\/facebook\/reports\/201603_uk\" target=\"_blank\">Read the report and broaden your perspective on the social media landscape in the United Kingdom.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The report contains data for 11 different industries present on Facebook in the UK. These are: All UK Brands,  Alcohol,  Banks,  IT\/Electronics,  Beverages,  Beer,  Politics,  Retail,  Cars,  Sweets,  and Telecommunication.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Best of Facebook UK<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/2016\/03\/fanpage-trends-uk-february-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">Once again<\/a> the biggest pages this month we\u2019re Mercedes AMG Petronus (10.8 m),  Tottenham Hotspur (7.5 m),  and England Football Team (6.1 m). Tottenham Hotspur experienced the most growth (2%),  while England Football Team grew by 1% and Mercedes AMG Petronus only grew by 0.6%. However,  their reigning popularity might be threatened as Leicester City Football Club continues to grow rapidly,  (28%) resting at 2.6 million fans.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Facebook UK&#8217;s Best Posts<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This March,  <strong>political and sports pages published the most successful posts.<\/strong> The top post this month was made by <strong>England Rugby<\/strong>,  celebrating their victory against France which made them the Grand Slam Champions. Fans of their page we\u2019re eager to voice their excitement and support over the win.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-Blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-21863 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-Blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-2.png\" alt=\"Sotrender Blog fanpage trends MAR 2\" width=\"537\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-Blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-2.png 537w, https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-Blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-2-475x453.png 475w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 537px) 100vw, 537px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Second place belonged to <strong>Britain First<\/strong>. The nationalist party\u2019s fanpage once again shot to the top of the rankings this March with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OfficialBritainFirst\/photos\/pb.300455573433044.-2207520000.1460450933.\/992318687580059\/?type=3&amp;size=1500%2C1417&amp;fbid=992318687580059\" target=\"_blank\">a picture post<\/a> asking people to \u201cShare if you agree that Muslim extremists who burn our flag should be deported.\u201d Britain First\u2019s far-right leanings lead them to produce controversial topics,  often resulting in extremely engaging posts. The third spot in the rankings belonged to <strong>Jeremy Corbyn<\/strong>. As he did in previous months,  a post he made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JeremyCorbynMP\/videos\/10154007023688872\/\" target=\"_blank\">calling out Prime Minister Cameron<\/a> on false claims he made. This time,  they we\u2019re concerning the state of education and teacher employment in the UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-21865 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-3.png\" alt=\"Sotrender blog fanpage trends MAR 3\" width=\"768\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-3.png 768w, https:\/\/www.sotrender.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Sotrender-blog-fanpage-trends-MAR-3-475x359.png 475w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Engagers and Growers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most engaging fanpages were once again dominated by <strong>sports clubs<\/strong>. The top three engagers were Leicester City Football Club (624 k),  England Rugby (567 k),  and Tottenham Hotspur (364 k) respectively. The fastest growing page remained Leicester City Football Club (+576 k),  followed by newcomers The Body Shop (+301 k) and Actimel (+264 k). The Body Shop knocked Tottenham Hotspur out of second place,  while Actimel took Sunderland AFC\u2019s third spot from last month.
